The HOSS System

A suspension that can handle trail conditions wherever you dare to roam.

HOSS 1.0

Best for high-speed trail running, the standard HOSS 1.0 suspension features high-strength equipment and heavy-duty dampers.

  • A conventional, passive damping system
  • Twin forged alloy A-arms with long-travel coil-over springs
  • HOSS-tuned heavy-duty dampers in front and back
  • 220 mm solid rear axle with long-travel, variable-rate coil-over springs

HOSS 2.0

Standard on Badlands®, Everglades™, Heritage, Heritage Limited or any model equipped with the Sasquatch Package, the HOSS 2.0 suspension brings another level of capability. Standard features include:

  • A conventional, passive damping system
  • Twin forged alloy A-arms with long-travel HOSS-tuned Bilstein™ Position-Sensitive Dampers with end-stop control
  • End cap control Valves help improve handling while providing a smooth ride
  • Independent front suspension

HOSS 3.0

When your off-roading habits need additional grit, the HOSS 3.0 system is a great upgrade that helps you handle trails like a champion. The upgrade includes a heavy-duty steering rack with a 40 percent increase in the maximum load, upgraded tie rods, a rear stabilizer bar, and more. The HOSS 3.0 system is standard equipment for the Wildtrak® model with the Sasquatch Package:

  • Live Valve 3.1 Internal Bypass Semi-Active Dampers
  • Front powder-coated steel bumper
  • Front steel bash plates
  • Ford Performance severe-duty steering rack and tie rod ends

Bronco® Raptor® HOSS 4.0

HOSS 4.0 is the best there is for a go-anywhere, do-anything attitude. Standard features include:

  • Live Valve technology with position-sensitive damping
  • 3.1 Internal Bypass Semi-Active Dampers
  • Integrated front reservoirs
  • Remote reservoirs in rear

Electronic Front-Locking Differential

Easily swap from open to full-on locked at the flip of a switch with the Dana™ AdvanTEK® M210 independent front suspension with Spicer® Performa-TraK electronic locker. Electronic Front-Locking Differential is standard on Badlands®, Wildtrak®, Everglades,™ Raptor®, Heritage, and Heritage Limited. Also included in the Sasquatch® Package available on all trims.

Electronic Rear-Locking Differential

Get ground-grabbing power from the Dana 44™ AdvanTEK® M220 solid rear differential with Spicer® Performa-TraK electronic locker. Standard on Black Diamond®, Badlands®, Wildtrak®, Everglades™, and all vehicles equipped with the available Sasquatch® Package. Available on Big Bend® and Outer Banks®.

Upgrade with SYNC®4

SYNC 4 is the latest infotainment system software available for the new Ford Bronco, bringing modern features like advanced wireless integration, voice recognition, real-time traffic, weather, construction, and more.
